1. Are your formulas vegan and cruelty free?

Yes, all of our products are 100% vegan and cruelty free.

2. Are your formulas natural?

Yes, all of our formulas contain at least 95% naturally sources ingredients. All synthetic ingredients used in our formulas are safe and carefully selected to provide the best results and effectiveness. Read more about each of our ingredients in the “Ingredients” section.

3. Where do you manufacture your products? Where is hyd based?

Our manufacture center and laboratory are based in Europe. Our team of cosmetic chemists create unique multi-functional formulas that are rigorously tested for efficacy, safety, and stability.  Read more about each of our ingredients in the “Ingredients” section.  Following European regulations (Regulation No.1223/2009, Annex II), we do not use any of the 1657 (as of May 2022) banned harmful ingredients in our products; in comparison, the U.S. only bans 30 of these ingredients. We are based in NYC.

4. How do you contribute to ocean protection efforts?  Do you donate any portion of your online sales?

Water is the source and the beginning of everything. We work closely with SeeTree foundation and we donate 1% of each online sale to plant mangrove trees in Indonesia. Read more about our actions in the “Ocean Health” section. Additionally, we create microplastic/microbeads-free formulas. By choosing skincare products free of microbeads, you are helping reduce plastic pollution in rivers, seas, and oceans. Once we have grown we will plan to use Ocean Bound plastic for future packaging accessories like lids and pumps.

5. Are your formulas safe for all skin types? What does it mean that hyd. formulas are multifunctional?

We create safe formulas that work for all skin types. We recommend performing a patch test prior to use. If you have any specific concerns, allergies, or illnesses, please consult a physician before using.Our formulas are multifunctional, which means that they deliver many benefits and target many issues simultaneously. They are effective and efficient, so that you can buy less and expect more. Buying less is the most sustainable way to reduce your environmental impact. We also want to create a routine that will deliver as much as possible in only a few steps. We also put a big emphasis on individual ingredients and try to use ingredients that deliver many benefits simultaneously.

6. Why are hyd. formulas unique?

All of our formulas are carefully created from scratch by professional chemists. We deliver multifunctional solutions that deliver many benefits simultaneously. Each of our formulas is microbiome friendly to keep your skin barrier in balance for healthy-looking skin. We believe that everything starts with hydration, and that is why our formulas not only provide and boost hydration but also prevent transepidermal water loss (TEWL). With our products, you could buy less and expect more, thereby reducing your environmental impact while improving your skin’s health and well-being.

We carefully select our ingredients (read more in the “Ingredient” section) based on their benefits. We are proud of our ingredients, but we believe that the most important factor is our formula, where it all comes together for the most effective and potent results.

1. Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free standard ground shipping for all orders in the US.

2. Do you ship worldwide?

We are currently looking into the best shipping options; however, worldwide shipping is not yet available on our website. 

3. How soon will I receive my order?

Once an order is successfully placed, processing will usually take 1-2 business days. Most orders will ship sooner than that. Once your package leaves our fulfillment center, its transit time will vary depending on your location.

Free standard shipping takes 2-5 business days, while express shipping takes 1-3 business days.

Only standard shipping is available for Alaska and Hawaii, and it will take 6-10 business days.

4. Can I change or cancel my order once it’s placed?

Once an order is confirmed, our team has already started working on getting it out to you. It can be difficult to change an order after it has been submitted, but please email us with your order number within 6 hours at hi@filips16.sg-host.com and we will try our best to fulfill your modification requests. 

5. Can I check the status of my order?

You will get an email with an order number and you will receive updates as your order is processed and shipped.

6. What is your return policy?

If something did not meet your expectations, please reach out to hi@filips16.sg-host.com within 30 days of receipt. Each case is reviewed by our team separately. 

7. What should I do when my package is LOST OR DAMAGED?

We are unable to refund or replace orders that do not arrive, whether due to incorrect shipping addresses, or to lost or stolen packages. However, please contact us right away and we will do whatever we can to help you locate your package. Once proof of delivery has been received, though, we will not be able to help.  If you are shipping to a building without a concierge or safe place to leave a parcel, we strongly recommend adding a signature request to your shipment. To do so, please contact hi@filips16.sg-host.com once your order has been placed. 

If your order arrives in damaged condition, please contact us at hi@filips16.sg-host.com with your order number and photos of the damage within 48 hours of receiving it for further assistance.
